OkEx, the cryptocurrency exchange based in Malta, has added a new Tron (TRX) to their customer-to-customer market. The latest addition comes at the back of OKEx adding support for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and XRP a few weeks ago.

TRON to trade using a range of different currencies

A press release indicated that from March 7, 2019, users could be able to trade Tron on the customer-to-customer platform using different currencies such as British sterling pound, Chinese Renminbi, Vietnamese dong, Thai baht and Russian Rubels. Users will be able to place their orders through self-selected payment methods and exchange rates.

The OKEx C2C exchange platform allows users to trade in crypto assets directly between each other in a model synonymous to the peer-to-peer model. Following the listing of TRX, users trading TRX will be treated with numerous promotion events going forward that are aimed at boosting the transactions of TRX.

To take part in the promotion users will have to deposit over 1000 TRX and they will receive $1.5 worth of TRX. The promotion will be awarded on first come basis for up to $30,000 TRX. Trading on the TRX within the promotional offers period will give users ranks according to trading volumes. High ranked users will get rewarded with TRX of between $2 and $280 until they exhaust $90,000 worth of TRX.

QTUM, XUC and NEO delisted

In February OKEx reported that they had listed BCH and XRP on the platform while at the same time they announced the delisting of NEO, QTUM and XUC effective from 26 February. OKEx indicated that all open orders on the delisted assets should be closed by that date to enhance better asset management. Although QTUM and NEO were delisted from the C2C platform, the exchange recently included them and Dash and Bitcoin SV to the margin trading platform and they will be traded against BTC or USDT with a leverage option of 3x.

According to CoinMarketCap, OKEx is the second largest crypto exchange in adjusted trade volume over approximately $809 million. In terms of market capitalisation OKEx. In the previous trading session, the coin lost 1.4%, and it is currently trading at $0.023.
